Ghost Galaxy recently introduced the concept of digital deck ownership. In effect, the first person that scans a deck becomes the owner of the deck. This ownership is important because without it you cannot play the deck at official events. It will also grant you the ability to print copies. This move has made the master vault account far more valuable than it was previously. Rather than only being a list of decks and some aember shards, it is not proof of ownership of your decks.
I will not go over my thoughts on the concept of digital ownership at this time, but since my day job is writing cyber security blog posts (surprising I write for a living?), I was immediately aware of the potential risks.

Enable 2 factor authentication
The best way to secure your account is to enable 2 factor authentication (2FA). This means that if your password is stolen nobody can access your account. You can do so by going to your profile on keyforgegame.com

From here navigate to your keybringer account.

Go to Signing in under account security. There you can set up two factor authentication. You will need to install an authenticator, I use google authenticator. It is important to note that losing the device on which the authenticator is installed makes it hard to recover. I hope in such event GG will be able to reset it.
